For example, last year we performed our first Transarterial Radioembolization Procedure (Y-90) to treat liver cancer, a minimally invasive approach that delivers targeted radiation to attack cancer cells and spare healthy tissue. This leading-edge treatment can prolong lives and enhance quality of life or allow the patient to receive a liver transplant and potentially cure their disease.<\/p>
