The Cause: Supporting Cancer Care in Your Community

Fighting for better cancer care today – and for the future.

In the next 10 years, the annual number of new cancer cases is predicted to increase by 25 per cent. That’s an estimated 115,306 cases by the year 2030.

Help us keep up with increasing demand and send more patients home to their loved ones by supporting better cancer care in our community. By purchasing a t-shirt or making a donation to the Mississauga Fire’s Pink Truck Tour fundraising campaign your supporting the residents of Mississauga, Peel Region and west Toronto who rely on Trillium Health Partners (THP) for rapid cancer diagnosis, surgery, chemotherapy, radiation and psychosocial care.

New Treatment Technologies for Coordinated Care

Earlier this year, the Carlo Fidani Regional Cancer Centre at THP became the first hospital in Eastern Canada to treat patients using HyperArc, a hardware and software platformthat can treat multiple lesions at one time with an average of 15 minutes per treatment. This means patients have access to leading-edge treatment technologies that provide more precise treatment, close to home.

Community support enables THP to continue transforming cancer care in our community through better care and leading-edge equipment today, and for generations to come.

Join the fight today for a healthier tomorrow.
