The Cause: Supporting Cancer Care in Your Community

Fighting for better cancer care today – and for the future.

Starting in 2024, it’s estimated that over 100,000 new cancer cases will be diagnosed in Ontario every year due to our growing and aging population. By 2030 that number is expected to climb to an estimated 115,300 cases.

Help us keep up with this increasing demand and send more patients home to their loved ones by supporting better cancer care in our community.

By purchasing our gear or making a donation to the Mississauga Fire Fighter’s Pink Truck Tour fundraising campaign you’re supporting the residents of Mississauga, Peel Region and West Toronto who rely on Trillium Health Partners (THP) for rapid cancer diagnosis, surgery, chemotherapy, radiation and psychosocial care.

New Treatment Technologies for Coordinated Care

Last year the Carlo Fidani Regional Cancer Centre at THP became the first hospital in Eastern Canada to treat patients using HyperArc for multiple brain tumours in a single session. Staff are now using the QA Phantom, a specialized device that mimics the patient’s head to automate advance testing of complex treatment plans on the HyperArc, dramatically speeding up patient therapy and therefore improving access.

Community support enables THP to continue transforming cancer care in our community through better care and leading-edge equipment today, and for generations to come.

Join the fight today for a healthier tomorrow.
